People are opting for home improvement instead of going for new homes as a result of recession. Recently a home improvement fair was Held by Gorham which was attended by hundreds of people interested in home improvement.
The show featured 17 stands consisting of specialist tools, insurance and loan specialists, tradesmen, exclusive home improvement products, etc., the idea behind the fair was to arrange a get together for the local home improvement contractors and customers so that they can talk to the right people required for home improvement.
The main attraction of the fair was a new eco-friendly alternative to timber known as Trex, which is a product made up of recycled plastic waste and wooden pallets, can be used for carpentry. This product comes with a twenty-five year warranty.
